As I worked in the strawberry stand with Brittany last night, I saw many children coming from the fields riding the Strawberry Express with strawberry stained happy faces. It was obvious that they were having a great time at Getting’s Garden. We hope they will have wonderful memories of picking strawberries and will want to return year after year.
Wednesday was another wonderful day of picking at the Gardens. I worked the night shift, and the flats that I weighed were beautiful and everyone seemed happy with their berries. Picking will be just as good today, so we hope you can find time in your busy schedule to stop out. We will be closed on Friday, July 4th, but we will be open Saturday, July 5th from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
We have pre-picked strawberries, jam, pies, honey and popcorn available at the stand all day.
